MEET THE OWNER / LEAD TECH

Born and raised in the bustling and diverse city of New York, Shaun joined the Mercedes-Benz USA team in September 2006. He quickly acheived systems technican status and did not stop there. He went on to become STAR certified and MASTER certified over the next few years. Within 4 years of joining the team, he was chosen to be trained and then constantly solely tasked with the intricate repairs required on exclusive Mercedes models such as the SLR McLaren, SL65 black series etc. 5 Years in, Shaun became a team leader which meant overseering approxiamately 12 technicians and ensuring the quality and throughness of 30-40 vehicles being repaired per day. With the launch of the SLS AMG he was certified yet again, and handled the pre delivery preparations, road testing and final repairs of dozens of brand new SLS and SLS Black series vehicles. With the launch of the AMG GTS and GT line of vehicles he then shifted gears to those while being hand selected by the regional technical specialist to attend and obtain Mercedes' highest level of certification possible: CDT

CDT (Centralized Diagnostic Technician) certification ensures that diagnostics are taken to the next level, above and beyond what a standard tech is trained to do. CDT's think outside the box and get things done when it comes to customer vehicles - they are tasked with fixing the unfixable. After acheiving numerous awards and certifications on virtually all Mercedes-Benz products, he decided to venture forth to establish Evolv Automotive in 2016, bringing that experience level to the independent provider field.  He worked both jobs until 2018 when he ventured full time to assist his expanding client base. He continues to provide expertise to local and traveling clientele from across the country.
